The ojective of this poster series was to reinterpret existing printed material. The series uses a tacky divorce advertisement from the back of a free newspaper. The first reinterpretation was a redesign of the advertisement so it would be able to be displayed in a larger space yet still keeping its original undertones. The second reinterpretation was to give a completely new and more serious meaning to the advertisement. This redesign creates a paradox of the original advertisement serving as a satire on the commodification of divorce today.
